Today was a beautiful full-circle moment. I had the honor of attending the opening of the Obama Presidential Center here in Chicago. What made it even more meaningful was sharing the day with people I have known since childhood. Craig Robinson and I played Biddy Basketball together growing up on the South Side. To stand there today and watch his sister, First Lady Michelle Obama, speak with such grace, purpose, and love was powerful. Moments like this remind me that none of us make the journey alone. Family, community, teachers, coaches, neighbors, and friends all help shape who we become. The Obama Presidential Center is more than a building.
