Today is The Longest Day.
Each year on the summer solstice (the day with the most light), we recognize The Longest Day, the Alzheimer’s Association’s tribute to the strength of those living with Alzheimer’s Disease and the caregivers who stand beside them.
Last week, our team at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute went purple and gathered on the RNI lawn to show our support. Every shade of purple is a promise to remember those we’ve lost, to care for those living with the disease, and to keep working toward a future without Alzheimer’s.
That work continues this fall. Join us Saturday, Oct. 18 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Morgantown, or find a walk closer to you at the link below. Every step brings us closer to a world with no more Longest Days.
