It’s 6U Allstar baseball which I know people have so many opinions about, but it’s what my son wanted. I’ve loved being on this ride with him, and it has been equally beautiful and heartbreaking to see him grapple with winning, losing, working really hard and still coming up short, pressure, and so much joy! This was a brutal loss. They had it in the bag and then just came undone. The worst way to lose 😔. I couldn’t take the tears and the disappointment, so my husband and I ran around like chickens without heads and pulled it all together in an hour and by the end of the day, nobody even remembered the loss. Because we didn’t join allstar baseball to win (although we play to win!), we joined to give him the best summer ever!!! And when one of the parents left he told me, “thanks for turning a bad morning into a great day” and I thought - that’s what mommas do ❤️ #allstarbaseball #summerbaseball #baseballmom mom
