The court system paid for my shoes: a story ππ¨ββοΈπ
Donβt get me wrong, it was an honor doing my civic duty as a juror. But my summons came just months after launching my creative agency full-time, making me the only juror in the room without employee leave. Furthermore, I was (involuntarily) picked to be the foreman, giving me lots of added responsibility and an added time commitment.
What I thought was going to be a normal day on day 1 of my summons turned into a 6-month commitment where I learned more than my fair share about the judicial system of my county. After putting in my time, I cashed out the little bit of funds I received on something I love: new running shoes!
Thanks to
@crcdilworth for the great service and heat on my feet!
