I searched for her the moment I crossed. As much as I want to set a good example for all those following my journey. There is nothing more important to me than being an example for this little girl. I don’t think she understands much about the race or that training has any purpose beyond having fun. But if she ever does look back on these race videos one day, I hope she sees she was the first person I looked for.
