Since I first started working with Virginia Tech baseball my freshman year, an aspiration of mine was to one day create the in-venue intro videos shown before each game. This year I was given the opportunity to do so, and I’m incredibly proud of the finished products. It’s a more strenuous process than I had imagined; going through hours of footage from the previous season to try and find footage that works, directing content day while keeping in mind intro video deliverables and normal content deliverables, and just trying to find the best song (arguably the hardest part). However, the difficult process let to results I’m very proud of and was excited for the players and fans to see before games. I’m also lucky enough that my work was shown at Globe Life Field during our tournament in February, a feeling that I imagine is gonna be hard to top.
