I’ve made a discovery with @Eaton Pet and Pasture bedding. I’ve been using it for years, composted down with our chicken manure in the garden, but this year I decided to try it directly over the soil in our raised garden beds. The results have been great! I’ve had hardly any weeds and the soil has stayed nice and moist underneath because the hemp actually absorbs moisture keeping it available for my plants.
