#WhyILoveChiO “How can you not love Chi O? It is a community where women bring their ideas, desires, and values together to build upon each other’s hopes. When I first decided to study abroad, I was excited, but mainly scared. Scared of losing connection with my friends, scared of adjusting to a new culture, and scared I’d be forgotten. I talked to several girls within our chapter who had studied in Spain who encouraged me to follow my dream in going abroad because it’s one of the best experiences a person can have in college. Thank goodness I listened! Being abroad has been absolutely wonderful. I think a huge part of the abroad experience being so wonderful is that I have had so many friends from home keep up with me throughout the semester: asking questions, sending me pictures of what they’re up to, and making sure that I am doing well.
