Here’s what she had to say about her experience: “This summer I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer in Costa Rica with LeadAbroad! We spent the first week training and going on team-building adventures like white water rafting, zip lining, and hiking in the La Fortuna jungle. The remainder of the trip we spent treating the locals of San Jose, providing medical care to those who are not fortunate enough to see a doctor. I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity to help the people of San Jose who don’t have access to healthcare.
