Next up for our #WHYKD is Emory Akridge from Mobile, AL!💚💚 Because I was the first girl in my family to go through rush at Alabama, I was super nervous but also went into rush very open minded to what each sorority had to offer. Additionally, I already had really close relationships with girls in other sororities, which made my decision even harder. Throughout rush, I loved getting to meet so many different girls, but without a doubt, KD stood out to me every time. Every single girl in the house was so welcoming and loving and I left the KD each day with a huge smile. It was in that moment that I knew KD was the right decision for me, and I couldn’t be more thankful that I made that decision. Running to the KD lawn on bid day was one of the best and happiest feelings ever. I am so happy with where I am right now and with how many new friends I have made in state and out of state. I cannot wait to meet PC ‘22!! #mtrckd
