âPi Beta Phi has always held a special place in my heart, even before I fully understood why. My mom is a Pi Phi alum, and growing up, she used to sing âAngels and Arrowsâ to me as a lullaby. I didnât know back then what it meant to her, but I knew it made me feel safe and loved. When I went through recruitment, I kept an open mind, wanting to find the place that truly felt like home. But deep down, I couldnât shake this pull toward Pi Phi. When I walked into the room during Preference Round and heard âAngels and Arrowsâ being sung, I completely lost it â I just started crying. It was like I was a little girl again, listening to my mom sing, but this time surrounded by women who felt like they already knew me, who already felt like home.
