SURPRISE!! The MAUI PAPATUI_ TRUCK🪝🚚 came bearing gifts for my high school students here in Hawaii - McKinley High School 🐅 I wanted to give these students some much needed love and let them know that I SEE THEM. They’re putting in the summer work and doing the hard thing - and they’re committed to finishing the job completely. I certainly had my struggles when I was at McKinley, and YES… the cops actually came and arrested me out of class. I was arrested multiple times here in Hawaii and graffiti was one of the lighter infractions I was arrested for 🤦🏽‍♂️ But, eventually I straightened up and overcame the odds. Just like my fellow McKinley students can, if they’re struggling to stay on the right track. What a cool full circle ⭕️ moment. ENJOY YOUR PAPATUI MCKINLEY FAM!!!
