Amy Piccoli was used to her three kids bringing home seasonal illnesses. When her son brought home a 24-hour bug, she wasn’t surprised to get sick too. But soon, she was “really dehydrated” and ended up in the emergency room. When doctors ran a CT scan as part of a workup, the test showed spots on her liver and a mass in her colon.
