Most people may know Delaware State University for having the first-ever Division I women’s wrestling program at an HBCU. 🧬What many don’t know is that the University is also conducting research in areas like neuroscience, cancer biology, virology, biomedical imaging, and health disparities.
Through its Interdisciplinary Health Research (IHER) Center, Delaware State researchers are working to better understand the biological, behavioral, and social factors that impact health outcomes and life expectancy.
The University also collaborates with healthcare organizations, research institutions, and community partners to advance biomedical research and help address real-world health challenges.
