Emma Chamberlain’s podcast “knowing when to quit” got me thinking… If we are being real I have mastered the art of “quitting”. I’ve “quit” a lot of big things: nursing school, collegiate soccer, jobs, training blocks, friendships, etc. For a long time my ego told me that meant failure, & ultimately like I wasn’t good enough, it crippled me. The guilt of “quitting” has been drilled into us for so long that stepping away can feel like failure, even when it’s the right choice. Redefining what it means to persevere. Giving yourself grace: to rest, to pivot, to protect your energy, and to grow in ways that actually support you. Sometimes success isn’t pushing through, it’s knowing when to choose yourself. #runrichrunclub
