Another solid weekend of Run Rich, shout out to newbie cooper for showing up in the rain #facecardneverdeclines …. now, STORY TIME I’m going into this new week fully committing to a new training plan for my half (LFG) and a new perspective about how passion and love for the sport is the foundation. In 2013 I won camper of the week at Kristine Lilly’s soccer academy (yeah, huge flex) and was given an autographed poster. When I moved out of my childhood home in January, I decided to give it to the girl I babysit. She’s 12, and is obsessed with all things soccer just like I was. Watching her light up about the things she loves is nostalgic and reminds me that the way you’re able to keep showing up, and eventually succeed, is by remembering why you started in the first place. That same passion and belief I felt growing up is still in there somewhere & that fires me up. The drive doesn’t disappear when you get older… sometimes you just have to reconnect with it. Maybe her card will motivat...
