Last Saturday we held our 4th workshop on the topic of homelessness. The workshop was led by Ashley Lewis from the Department of Health Services, where we learned about the common causes, demographics, and the services available in addressing homelessness. We also had the opportunity to assemble hygiene care kits that are to be donated to a local homeless outreach program (Breaking Bread) here in El Sereno! #mentorforchange #mfc #homelessness #nonprofit #community
