❗️LEGO just built the fastest vehicle in its history, and it’s based on one of the world’s most extreme hypercars.
The new LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear recreates Koenigsegg’s track-focused megacar in a massive 4,104-piece 1:8 scale model packed with working mechanical features.
To celebrate the launch, LEGO and Koenigsegg went a step further by constructing a full-size drivable version made from hundreds of thousands of LEGO elements.
The life-size build reached an incredible 69 mph (111 km/h), making it the fastest LEGO Technic vehicle ever created.
The project reportedly took over 9,400 hours to develop and weighs nearly 4,000 pounds.
It also features functional details inspired by the real Sadair’s Spear, including Koenigsegg’s signature design elements and engineering touches.
Between the flagship Technic set and the record-breaking full-scale car, this may be one of LEGO’s most ambitious automotive collaborations ever.
