Today, we celebrate #CancerSurvivor Nayda. For many years, she experienced a number of GI issues, but she never really paid attention to them. The year before her rectal cancer diagnosis, she started to feel like something was wrong. Nayda got a screening colonoscopy which led to her diagnosis and after receiving treatment, Nayda is now cancer free. Nayda’s battle with cancer led to her oldest daughter getting her first colonoscopy at 36 years old.
