At just 18 years old, Makayla Machey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Through six months of chemotherapy, Makayla remained determined, drawing strength from her family, friends, and care team while keeping her focus on one goal—beating cancer.
Today, Makayla is in remission and embracing life as a cancer survivor. She has returned to college to pursue a degree in psychology, enjoys spending time with loved ones, and continues to move forward with resilience, hope, and gratitude.
Join us in celebrating Makayla's strength, perseverance, and the bright future ahead of her.
