At China’s Dragon Boat Festival, everybody takes place – including the robots.⁣ ⁣ In southwest China's Sichuan Province, Beijing-developed humanoid robots joined human rowers for the festival fun. ⁣ ⁣ Two "Tiangong" robots from the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics paddled with local youth in Bazhong after two weeks of adaptive training designed to synchronize their movements with human teammates.⁣ ⁣ The robots also participated in traditional rice cake making to test their dynamic balance. ⁣ ⁣ This "energy relay event" serves as a precursor to the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games.
