Even with Christian Pulisic sidelined with a calf injury, the USMNT turned in another strong performance on home soil, opening the scoring just 11 minutes in through a Cameron Burgess own goal. Just before halftime, Alex Freeman doubled the lead with a header from close range after a deflected shot from Sergiño Dest.
