“Life can change quickly. These photos were taken last summer, but looking at them now, they already feel like souvenirs. Not long after I took them, after fifteen years together, my wife and I chose different paths, even though our lives are still connected in some ways. Until I was thirty, I often wondered what I really wanted to do with my life. I had been a teacher, a cook, worked on boats, and tried a bit of everything. I was tired of modern life. I wanted to work with my hands and feel connected to something real. I was passionate about permaculture and agroecology, so I started a small farm in Provence. She helped me build much of it.
