After an ankle injury forced her withdrawal from the 2024 U.S. Championships, Douglas indicated her plan was to continue and remarked what an honor it would be to compete in a home Olympics in Los Angeles. “I proved to myself and to the sport that my skills remain at an elite level, she told ESPN at the time. We visited with Gabby at WOGA as she prepared for a run for the 2024 Games and she looked remarkable in training.
