In our Digital Design and Manufacturing program, students put their CAD and engineering skills to the test with the Egg Drop Challenge. Using CAD software and 3D printers, they design and manufacture protective structures capable of keeping an egg intact after a 30-foot drop. This project teaches students how to apply design principles, prototyping, testing, and problem solving - the same process used in product development, manufacturing, aerospace, and engineering industries.
