Today is International Day for Countering Hate Speech. In crises, hate speech and dehumanizing narratives can fuel stigma, deepen divisions, put people at risk and undermine access to life-saving assistance. Addressing hate starts with rebuilding trust. Across the world, our IFRC network teams work with communities to listen, share reliable information and support dignity, safety and inclusion. Because in today’s crises, trusted information can save lives. This 18 June, we say: #NoToHate.
