The alleged plot to attack the White House at Sunday’s UFC fight apparently had a ringleader, according to the Department of Homeland Security. 31-year-old Abraham Alvarez of Nebraska was also an illegal immigrant from Mexico who came to the United States as a child, during which time he overstayed his visa. Alvarez was later given protection under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. Authorities said he was arrested at a church in Nebraska, which tax records show he owned, and went by the nickname "Shephard." According to the Justice Department, the complaint alleges that Shepherd provided a picture and directions for a safe zone at an old church in Nebraska.
