Baseball kids aren’t the problem, you are! There are many factors that make coaching kids difficult including neurodivergence and problems at home. HOWEVER. The mentality of “it is the kids fault not mine” will get you nowhere. Putting the “hammer down” and calling out the kids loudly who are being disruptive will not create the desired culture. Constructively criticize QUIETLY and LOUDLY celebrate good behavior. Do not react emotionally to failures but sleep on it. Do not coach mechanics from the sidelines but always be approachable when kids need help. #baseball #baseballcoaching #youthbaseball
