When I saw my cousin die in front of me at the age of 8, I realized early on that a day without laughter is a day wasted. Before my little sister Tytyana passed away 3yrs ago, she would always say “always laugh, it’s is cheap medicine big brother”. Lastly, the super funny kevinhart4real once said, “Laughter heals all wounds, and that’s one thing that everybody shares.” That’s our motto on this T1D journey, it’s hard but we will keep on laughing and sending punch lines back!
