Don’t worry, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you 👀   What you spotted was a Sumatran Tiger living in Hutan Harapan, a precious stretch of rainforest on the Indonesian island of Sumatra 🐅   As one of the last remaining lowland rainforests of Sumatra, this area of rainforest is home to 312 species of bird and several endangered animals, including the Sumatran Tiger. Which is why it’s so important this biodiversity hotspot is protected.   We’ve been working alongside our partners and local communities to protect Hutan Harapan, restoring the native forest and nurturing the ecosystem, to support the people and wildlife that depend upon it.   This rainforest still faces many challenges, but by working together, we’ll continue to protect and restore the forest for future generations.   #WorldRainforestDay #HutaunHarapan #Sumatra #RSPB
