Whalen joined the Nationals during the 2025-26 season and quickly became a strong addition to the lineup, bringing energy, compete, and a responsible two-way game each night. In 10 regular-season games with London, Chin recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points, while also appearing in 7 playoff games for the Nationals. Before joining London, Whalen spent part of the season with the Ayr Centennials, recording 5 assists in 21 games.
