This summer, we were thrilled to welcome Lucy Sheppard lucyasheppard back to the studio, this time as a faculty member at our Joffrey South Ballet Summer Intensive.⁠ ⁠ Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Lucy trained with Joffrey Ballet School through our Summer Intensive programs for five years before continuing her education at Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet with an outside field of study in Arts Management. Today, she is a professional dancer with Chattanooga Ballet chattanooga_ballet, bringing both her performance experience and passion for mentorship into the classroom.⁠ ⁠ Last week, Lucy taught a ballet class for our South Ballet Summer Intensive dancers, sharing valuable insight from her own training and professional journey.
