Kids are sending 50 to 100 resumes and hearing back from less than 5% of you. They are shooting their shot, scared to death, and the least you can do is take 10 minutes to reply. You do not owe them an internship. You do not owe them a job. But if a young person reaches out by email or phone, respond.
