Micron Technology (MU) reports fiscal Q3 2026 earnings after the market close Wednesday, with Wall Street expecting record-breaking results. Analysts are projecting adjusted earnings of $20.76 per share a tenfold increase from $1.91 per share in the same quarter last year. Revenue consensus stands at $35.75 billion, a 284% year-over-year increase from $9.3 billion. Options markets are pricing in an implied move of approximately 14% in either direction.
Despite an eight-quarter streak of beating both earnings and revenue estimates, Micron shares have closed lower after six of those eight reports. Freedom Capital Markets Chief Market Strategist Jay Woods noted, "HBM is the growth story, but guidance is the stock story."
