One of my absolute biggest pet peeves in the filmmaking and motion world is people using the word “cinematic” as a catch-all phrase for “something that looks cool.”⁠ ⁠ 98% of the time when someone says they’ve created something #cinematic, what they really mean is that they shot everything in slow motion, slapped on a gritty color grade and put orchestral music in the background. ⁠ ⁠ However, as much as this is a pet peeve of mine, I also have to admit that I do it too sometimes 😅⁠ ⁠ So here are some recent clips from a @pdxtrack meet that I edited together into a fun little montage purely for the sake of creating something cool. ⁠ ⁠ No story.
