“More effort is giving you worse results.” Most athletes never hear this until they’re already stuck, overtrained, or breaking down. The body doesn’t reward chaos. It rewards timing, organization, sequencing, and efficient force transfer. That’s the difference between just training harder… and training with intent. A lot of what shaped my approach came from the work being done through the Marinovich system and the evolution and improvement of it through Sport Science Lab under Gavin MacMillan and Candice MacMillan.
