Big brother, Jackson, has chronic #kidneydisease, congenital urethral conditions and, as a result, underwent multiple kidney and #bladder surgeries with Dr. Hillary Copp. Laura, Jackson’s mother, became his foster mother soon after birth and adopted him at 18 months old. At the time, doctors believed he would need a #kidneytransplant while in preschool or kindergarten. Jackson is now 10 and hasn’t needed a transplant yet!
