How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2 is officially in the works. The new sequel starring Jim Carrey is coming at exactly the right time, too. This past week, it was reported that Universal Pictures was officially returning to the world of the Grinch. A sequel to 2000’s classic live-action take on Dr. Seuss’s iconic story is in the works. Better yet, Jim Carrey is set to reprise his role as the titular Grinch, with Ron Howard also set to return to direct the sequel.
