It’s time to smell the roses! The Lyndale Park Rose Garden is the second oldest public rose garden in the United States. It features more than 3,000 rose bushes of 100 different varieties. Many of the varieties are in bloom as of when the video was taken on the evening of June 22, 2026. The garden was designed by Theodore Wirth when he was the superintendent of the Minneapolis Parks System. He also designed the first public rose garden in the U.S., Helen S.
