OFFICIAL: Welcome to Houston, Bruce Thornton 🚀 The Houston Rockets today announced they have completed two trades during the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.  The Rockets acquired the rights to the 31st (Bruce Thornton) and 55th (Nick Martinelli) picks from New York in exchange for the rights to the 39th (Jack Kayil) and 53rd (Ugonna Onyenso) picks, a 2029 second round pick originally belonging to Sacramento and the rights to Mojave King.  The Rockets then traded Martinelli’s rights to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash considerations.
