To celebrate Together Tuesday I recently joined forces with fellow givingtuesdayspark leader Sammie Vance of sammiesbuddybenchproject . Together we spoke with over 100 amazing second and third grade students at a local #sacramento elementary school. Sammie zoomed in from across the country in Indiana, and together we spread some kindness and environmental literacy by sharing our stories and donating a beautiful brand-new buddy bench made entirely from recycled materials to David Lubin’s playground. This was in collaboration with Sammie Vance givingtuesdayspark givingtuesday and bethepeople for #togethertuesday ♥️ 3rd graders also received official certificates proclaiming them as “Earth Heroes!” 🌎💚 Early literacy is so crucial, I’m grateful I have the chance to give kids the resources they need to be literate from a young age!
