QUESTIONS IN A BOTTLE, Episode 1 THE 9:09 PROJECT by author markhparsonsauthor is a truly special read. It is a young adult novel that shares the perspective of Jamison, a teen who copes with his mother’s death by starting a photography project where he takes pictures at the same time and place, at 9:09 PM, each night as way to honor his mother and help him hold onto his memories. The story dives into important themes like, grief, healing and human connections, but Parsons tells the story in the 1st person , so readers experience everything through Jamison who has synesthesia, a perceptual phenomenon which causes him to see the world differently from others.
