Jacksonville, Ala., native Riley Green will co-host and perform at “CMA Fest presented by SOFI”, a concert special built around performance footage from the CMA Fest held earlier in June in Nashville. Green said that performing in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium was the kind of thing he dreamed of as a kid. “I don’t think I ever grew up dreaming about hosting,” he said. “I think that’s something that, I hope I didn’t bite off more than I can chew.” Listed among the event’s performers, as are Hope Hull native Ella Langley and the Red Clay Strays, a roots-rock band from Mobile that has won awards in the country music world. “CMA Fest presented by SOFI” will air starting at 7 p.m. Central time on Thursday, June 25, on ABC, and will be available for streaming the next day on Hulu.
