Christopher Hester and Christopher Barbour went to prison for the 1992 slaying of Thelma Roberts, a single mother of two in Montgomery. After Barbour was sentenced to death, Hester pleaded guilty to being at the scene before she died, saying that he never saw the woman being harmed.
