Sploot like it’s hot… It’s sploot season, folks. Already? Yep, it’s hot out there. What is this splooting we speak of? Splooting is when an animal flops out flat, usually face-down, with all four legs stretched in different directions. Why the sploot? Sometimes it’s a full-body stretch, sometimes it’s just peak comfort, and sometimes it’s a just a good way to cool off by pressing against a cooler surface. Basically: it’s part yoga, part pancake, part summer heat survival strategy. Nice. So take a cue from the pros this summer season and stay hydrated, find some shade, and when in doubt, sploot it out.
