lovable.dev helped build an app giving victims of gender-based violence in Argentina a safer way to report gender based violence for survivors.
It was created by Mariana Sánchez Caparrós, a lawyer focused on ethics, gender, and AI, alongside computer scientist Matías Calderini. The platform was designed to help both victims and authorities better report and process gender-based violence cases in a more accessible and secure way.
The app is already running as a pilot in one Argentine province, expanding into another, and was presented at a UN event in March as an example of thoughtful AI being used to tackle sensitive real-world issues.
The platform was built with the help of Lovable. Mariana, who isn’t technical, was able to design and mock up the experience herself, helping the team save months of development time.
Lovable is an AI no-code platform that turns your idea into a full web app in minutes, no engineering degree needed.
