"It all started unexpectedly while I was running a mobile bar company and partnering with local distilleries. After someone joked that I should open my own distillery, I decided to go for it, even though I had very little experience." "The inspiration for my brand is my amazing fiancée, Jen, and I wanted it to have real meaning so I named it as if it were a love letter: “Love, Katie Distilling.” As Pennsylvania’s first and only gay-owned distillery, I aimed to create a brand and space that celebrates all kinds of love, with our motto “Let it be your love letter” and an actual love letter on every bottle.
