Happy Birthday to one of the most special young men I’ve ever had the privilege of mentoring. Parents of athletes in QLD 👋 I need you to read this, and then have this conversation with your kids. Especially the ones who doubt themselves. Carter was one of the very first kids I mentored in QLD. He never played Division 1 Representative basketball. He never made a QLD State Team. He was a good athlete who needed to develop his skills and learn how to maximise everything he had. But what he DID have, was belief, attitude, and the ability to completely block out the noise.
