Our Grade 9 Community Connect Week got off to an early start this morning! 📊 By the numbers: • 300 boys • 25 staff • 20 groups • 16 organisations • 4 buses • 3 Starias • Hundreds of new memories! From painting benches at Mitchell Park, cleaning and polishing floors and preparing meals for residents at Mildrene Retirement Home, creating a vegetable garden at The Seed Fund, removing bags and bags of invasive alien vegetation in Virginia Bush, and connecting with a range of community organisations, our boys returned tired, inspired and with a greater appreciation for the role they can play in our community. We are incredibly grateful to all the organisations that have welcomed our boys and partnered with us on this journey. 💙 Day one complete.
