To conclude 2026 #HOPEWeek, the Yankees honored bronxlegendsboxingacademy, a free boxing program for young people who are struggling — often for reasons well beyond their control — with academics, family instability and personal loss. Yesterday, Yankees Manager aaronboone, players cody_bellinger, chemacaballero_ , and maxschuemann along with Yankees Bench Coach Brad Ausmus met with students at the Bronx Legends Gym, and participated in Qigong meditation & light boxing exercises 🥊 They saw firsthand that while Bronx Legends Boxing Academy has produced Golden Gloves champions, its greatest achievement is in fostering the leadership and academic potential of kids from the Bronx 💙
